Samsung has once again released a quality foldable phone. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 launched alongside the FE model at the Unpacked event on July 9th. Unsurprisingly, there's not much here to wow longtime Flip users. The phone retains the edge-to-edge cover screen and a slightly bigger battery. But the rest of it is almost identical to its predecessor.
It's not so much that they can share the same accessory. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is slightly wider and taller than the Flip 6. Specifically, it measures 85.8 x 72.4 x 14.9 mm when folded, while the Z Flip 6 is 85.1 x 71.9 x 15.1 mm.

Flip to the safer side of your Galaxy
Samsung’s foldables are getting sturdier, but they're still at the mercy of your care. If you want your Flip 7 to last, start intentionally protecting it in little ways. Avoid pocket lint in the hinge by cleaning it regularly and don’t snap it shut too hard. Always keep your case on to block out sand and crumbs. Foldables don’t like tiny particles.
Preferably, get a screen protector for the outer display, even if you don't get on for the inside. It's the part exposed when your phone is folded, and will most likely be the first thing to kiss the floor if it drops.
