When you think of OnePlus, you likely instantly think of the company's flagship devices. The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R launched earlier this year, so they're still very fresh on our minds. However, if you want the OnePlus DNA at a lower price, you're fortunate enough to have the Nord series devices available.
Speaking of those, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G (what an incredible mouthful), is coming out soon, and with Nord and Lite in the name, it is bound to be light on the pocket. OnePlus has made its launch date official, and it'll be coming out on June 24th.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is a lengthily-named smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer, and it is going to be the next smartphone from the company to launch. The Nord series is for OnePlus' lower-priced devices, so for those who aren't in need of a smartphone that can do everything under the sun, this is going to be a fantastic option.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, a milder version of the full-fat Nord CE 4) is expected to launch in less than a week at this point; on June 24th to be precise (just a day before the launch of the new Motorola Razr devices). The launch will be live on OnePlus' official YouTube channel at 9:30 EST (1:30 GMT).
The device is going to be launched globally, which is fantastic news. The China or Europe-only launches can sometimes get tiring. We also know that the smartphone is going to be available in a colorway called Mega Blue, which, as expected, is very blue. The colorway's official name was shown in a post on the OnePlus X account, though it's not sure what other colors will be available.
OnePlus Has Let Us In On Several Of The Specs To Expect From The Upcoming Smartphone
OnePlus isn't hiding the design of the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, as we can see that it looks set to come with a flat frame, flat back panel, and I assume a flat screen as well. It looks good. It's going to have a vertically oriented dual camera setup on the back, with two LED flashes below that. It also looks like the back panel will either be made of glass or plastic.
The company has also made some of the specs public. We know that the smartphone is going to have a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,100 nits of peak brightness. No word on the size or resolution, though I expect a 6.7-ish FHD+ panel. It's also going to have Aqua Touch, which should make the screen usable even with wet fingers or water on the screen. Perfect for rainy days.
The device is going to have a large 5,500 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, so there's not much to be upset about in that department. There's even 5W reverse charging thrown into the mix, in case you need to juice up another device in a punch.
