Star Wars: Hunters might not offer a lot of characters for you to play as, but those already released provide unique strengths and weaknesses diversifying their playing styles.

Of course, more Heroes will be added in due time. But, for those you should be looking at mastering right now, this tier can help shine a light on who you should prioritize right now.

Star Wars: Hunters‘s Heroes are quite intricately balanced because each character's abilities remain true to their persona but are never overpowered to avoid handicapped match-ups.

That being said, some of them are more preferred than others because of how easy their playing styles are. Let's have a look at how we rank all thirteen (13) Heroes currently available in the game, including Arran Tal:

Character Tiers Overview

Of course, we have justifications for grouping the Heroes into their respective tier groups. Here's why:

S-Tier

S-tier Heroes are arguably the easiest to master, with their skills being exceptional for their corresponding classes. While no character is invincible, these Heroes can still bring down multiple enemies, support the team non-stop, or survive heavy aggro to push a fight forward.

Rieve from Star Wars: Hunters.
Rieve
Rieve is definitely at the top of everyone's most powerful Star Wars: Hunters Heroes because she has multiple abilities that she can use for different circumstances, either offensively or defensively.
Charr from Star Wars: Hunters.
Charr
Charr's a fearsome character to go against; despite being a Tank, his skills are primed for obliterating foes in multiple ways!
Grozz from Star Wars: Hunters.
Grozz
Grozz is a nearly indestructible force of nature in Star Wars: Hunters! He can decimate an entire team in the hands of a good player, getting into the heart of the action up close and personal.

Plus, he's available for everyone early on, making him a frequent face in match-ups.
Zaina from Star Wars: Hunters.
Zaina
Zaina's the ultimate support in Star Wars: Hunters. Although she isn't offensively impressive, she's important for any team that's seriously looking for a win.

She heals multiple allies at once, heals even more for those at low HP, and makes anyone a literal tank for a few seconds (which can be the difference between winning and losing)!

A-Tier

Heroes under the A tier are still amazing characters in Star Wars: Hunters, but they need some getting used to to maximize their incredible potential.

Arran Tal from Star Wars: Hunters.
Arran Tal
Arran Tal is everyone's favorite badass in Star Wars: Hunters, and rightfully so. His dual blasters, flamethrower, and jet pack make him a dangerous adversary.

However, while his character screams “gung-ho!”, he isn't indestructible, so you need to learn how and when to engage enemies using him.
Imara Vex from Star Wars: Hunters.
Imara Vex
Imara Vex is the textbook definition of an assassin marksman. Her long-range skills are superb, meaning she can defeat foes without ever putting herself in harm's way!

She's still weak when engaged in close range, so hit-and-run tactics match her character most.
Sentinel from Star Wars: Hunters.
Sentinel
Sentinel is another fan-favorite pick; who doesn't like to be a Stormtrooper?

His kit is special; he has a literal shield that makes him invulnerable from front damage, has a strong melee attack, and even calls in two (2) Stormtroopers to cover him!

His downsides: he's slow and sluggish with the shields on, and his heavy weapon overheats frequently.
Utooni from Star Wars: Hunters.
Utooni
Utooni are a pair of crafty Jawas that are packed to the brim for different combat instances.

They're not as durable as the game's Tanks but have multiple capabilities to shift their gameplay around, making them versatile for distanced and close-ranged firefights.

B-Tier

B-tier Heroes aren't necessarily the most formidable units inside the Arena, but they can still provide value to the team when playing their cards right.

J-3DI from Star Wars: Hunters.
J-3DI
Despite being the non-traditional counterpart to Rieve, J-3DI's not an actual Jedi, so he isn't as Force compatible.

As such, his abilities are slightly grounded and limited, although he can still block attacks from the front using his lightsaber.
Skora from Star Wars: Hunters.
Skora
Skora's actually quite nifty for those who understand her playing style.

Generally, she's a reduced version of Zaina but is a bit more aggressively decked.
Slingshot from Star Wars: Hunters.
Slingshot
On paper, Slingshot's a mighty beast to contend with, particularly against his droideka's shield and many rockets.

That being said, he's all about precise combat movement, meaning you can get caught in the open if you mistime his other abilities.
Sprocket from Star Wars: Hunters.
Sprocket
Sprocket's a genius Support who can be invaluable in the right team composition and the hands of an experienced player.

If not, he's only going to be a wasted slot in a party despite him having a ton of abilities ready to boost everyone's effectiveness!

C-Tier

Heroes in the C-tier are the least likely to be picked because of their technical gameplay and steep skill curve. They're not useless at all but are sometimes hard to get used to.

Diago from Star Wars: Hunters.
Diago
The gifted Diago has a kit that could work splendidly for a slow, meticulous tactical shooter.

In Star Wars: Hunters‘s fast-paced environment, though, he seems out of place, but there have been players who consistently play him to remain out of the norm.
