How to Unlock Vastocar in Type Soul (Step-By-Step)
Below is an in-depth, step-by-step guide on how to unlock Vastocar in Type Soul and what we recommend doing to speed the process along!
STEP #1: Create a New Hollow Character

The first step you need to take to get Vastocar is to create a Hollow character from a new slot.
NOTE: If you're an Adjucar and you want to unlock the Vastocar form without creating a new slot, you'll have to collect 7 Hogyoku Fragments and use them. You can collect Hogyoku Fragments via trading, playing ranked games, killing ranked bosses, or participating in raids.
STEP #2: Defeat and Consume Two Fishbones

Once you've created your Hollow character, you'll automatically be spawned in Hueco Mundo as a Fishbone.
The next step is to find other NPC Fishbones, kill two of them, and then consume their remains, which come out as a black mass after you kill a Hollow.
TIP: We recommend that you kill your second Fishbone near a Menos, as Menos have very slow movement speed. Having one nearby as you transform into a Menos will save you several minutes of walking as a Menos just to encounter another Menos.
STEP #3: Kill One or Two Menos Grande

After killing two NPC Fishbones and absorbing their remains, you'll become a Menos Grande (i.e. Menos).
To evolve further, you'll have to kill one or two Menos depending on the EXP you've had before killing one.
NOTE: Unlike Fishbones, you don't have to consume the remains of a Menos to evolve. Also, keep in mind that killing other players who are in Menos form does not evolve you further, so don't bother attacking them!

Upon becoming a Menos (as well as an Adjucha), you'll unlock a Kido skill on your Skill Tree. Remember to equip them ASAP so you can kill mobs faster!
STEP #4: Find A Good Adjucha Spawn Point
After killing one or two Menos Grande, you'll automatically evolve into an Adjucha. This is where the grind starts, as you'll need to kill up to 13 NPC Adjuchas to proceed.
Here are the two best locations to farm Adjuchas in Type Soul:
(Safest)

To efficiently farm Adjuchars in this location, we highly recommend climbing the hill highlighted in the images above, and then waiting there as Adjuchars spawn nearby. Once you're there, follow these steps while farming:
- Come down the hill and kill any nearby Adjuchas you see (2-3 of them spawn here).
- Get back onto the hill once you've killed the Adjuchas. This will make you harder to reach by other players in case you've entered a server where there are other players nearby.
- Server-hop and wait 3-5 minutes for the Adjuchas to spawn again. While server-hopping, note that small Hollows will often spawn first, so be patient. If a Menos spawns within the 3-5 minute mark instead of an Adjuchar, server-hop immediately.
- If you're farming solo, server-hop immediately if you see another player approaching your spot. We recommend server-hopping to a low-populated server (around 2-5 players) to avoid running into other players while farming.
TIP: If there's another Hollow where the Adjuchar spawns, the Adjuchar will attack that Hollow. We recommend letting them fight for a bit, then swooping in a bit later once the Adjuchar has taken some damage. Also, once you're fighting the Adjuchars yourself, remember to spam your Critical (R-key) and Block (F-key) their Kido attacks so you won't have to run back to the hill to recover.
(Riskier But Potentially Faster)

This location spawns more Adjuchas nearby (2-4 of them spawn here) so you can potentially get to your farming goal faster, but do note that this is a hotspot for player Adjucha PKers (yes, they exist) and other player Adjuchars that are farming NPC Adjuchars for their own evolutions to get Vastocar.
To minimize the risk, you can climb any hill near this area and then camp/server-hop there, but do note that you'll still be vulnerable while fighting NPC Adjuchas.
STEP #5: Farm Up to 25 Mask Cracks

With your farming spot picked out, you'll now have to farm Mask Cracks by killing as many Adjuchas as you can. You get two Mask Cracks from killing NPC Adjuchas and one Mask Crack from killing Player Adjuchas.
At this stage, you'll also have to either create a Party to protect you or avoid other players entirely if you're solo. This is because you lose five Mask Cracks every time you get killed by another player or an NPC.
NOTE: You don't need to consume the remains of an Adjucha to get Mask Cracks.

Upon collecting 25 Mask Cracks, you'll immediately evolve to an Albino Adjucha.
From here, you'll have two options to evolve further, which will be discussed separately in Step 6.1 (Vasto Lorde method) and Step 6.2 (Albino Adjucha PVP method).
STEP #6.1: Find and Defeat the Vasto Lorde Boss

Upon becoming an Albino Adjucha, you'll see various different-colored text and lines popping up on your screen. Disregard the text, but pay close attention to the lines that appear at random.
One of these lines will lead you to the spawn point of the Vasto Lorde boss, so you'll have to follow them one at a time depending on their color. Only one line will lead to the correct spawn point.
Remember that each line is colored differently, so if you're following a red line, only follow that red line until you get to the location it points to. If you get to the location and the boss doesn't spawn, then pick another line to follow.

If you get to the correct spawn point (note that only one line will lead you to the spawn point), the Vasto Lorde boss will appear.
This whole process is quite tedious, however, so feel free to proceed to Step 6.2 instead or scroll further down to our “How to Find and Beat the Vasto Lorde Boss Fast” section to avoid hours of roaming around the map, risking yourself to being attacked other players and potentially losing Mask Cracks!
STEP #6.2: Defeat Another Albino Adjucha

You can bypass the entire process of hunting for the Vasto Lorde boss's spawn point and try to defeat it by challenging other player's Albino Adjucha instead.
If you are defeated by an Albino Adjucha, you'll lose 5 Mask Cracks. Losing to the Vasto Lorde or another Albino Adjucha used to lock you out of the Vastocar form (unless you use Hogyoku Fragments), but this is no longer the case after the previous updates.
TIP: You can use an alt account by either re-downloading the Roblox client through the Microsoft Store (PC) or using a different account on mobile, get the alt character to an Albino Adjucha, then kill it in a safe location to make this step more risk-free. Do note that a Roblox account has to be one month old to play Type Soul.
STEP #7: Go From Vasto Lorde to Vastocar by Ripping Your Mask Off (CTRL + K)

Once you've defeated the Vasto Lorde boss or another Albino Adjucha and consumed their remains, you'll automatically evolve into a Vasto Lorde yourself.
From the Vasto Lorde form, you can get Vastocar right away by clicking CTRL + K.
And there you go, that's how you unlock Vastocar!
WARNING: Ripping off your mask at any point before this step (either as Menos or Adjucha) will turn you into an Adjucar instead and lock you out of the Vastocar form unless you use 7 Hogyoku Fragments, so keep your hands off of CTRL + K until you're a Vasto Lorde!
How to Find and Beat the Vasto Lorde Boss Fast
The Vasto Lorde boss has several spawn points around the map, but the correct spawn is chosen at random every time you join a server as an Albino Adjuchar.
So, if you want to be able to spawn the Vasto Lorde boss fast without having to travel around the map while following the lines, all you have to do is stay near a guaranteed spawn point and server-hop until the Vasto Lorde spawns in that area.

Among the Vasto Lorde boss spawn points, we highly recommend choosing the one located near the Throne Ruins zone of the map (see Adjuchar Farming Location #2), then walk around the area highlighted in the first image shown above for about 15-20 seconds.
Every time the boss doesn't spawn, all you have to do is switch to low-populated servers while avoiding high-populated ones as well as the ones listed as “Unknown Region“, as these servers often have inaccurate player counts despite being listed as 1/30.

Once you've managed to spawn the Vasto Lorde boss, your first priority shouldn't be to fight it but to run for the hill highlighted in the first image above. Make sure your Shift Lock is turned on if you're on PC to climb up this hill by holding S or W and spamming SPACE.
The Vasto Lorde boss is incredibly tough and will prioritize attacking you above all else, so you'll have to cheese this boss fight by going down the hill to fight it for a bit, then going up to recover once your HP reaches anywhere below 50%, just to be safe.
Do keep in mind that the Vasto Lorde boss can sometimes jump onto the hill you're on! To prevent this, make sure he's stuck in the gap shown in the second image by moving around the hill and “luring” him while you're recovering HP.
It's risky, but you can lure another Hollow (except Menos) as you're going up the hill. They'll attack Vasto Lorde upon receiving damage from it, and with the boss aggroing you, they'll be able to damage it without retaliation. Don't worry about not getting the last hit over any NPC Hollow, as you only have to consume the boss's remains to evolve.
TIP: Worst case scenario, you'll run into either a heartless player or a Menos Grande that'll ruin your fight with the Vasto Lorde. If you do get attacked and are very close to dying, you can exit Type Soul, then relog-in. This will revert you back to your Menos Grande form, but after killing another Menos Grande, you'll be able to go back to being an Albino Adjucha right away, so you won't have to farm five Mask Scars all over again. Do note that this might be a bug and may be removed upon further updates.
