Lenovo has announced its new Tab P12 Android tablet which is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7050 chipset and packs in a big 12.7-inch LCD display. Productivity purposes are catered for with the inclusion of Lenovo's Tab Pen Plus stylus and ThinkPad-inspired keyboard, plus the ability to function as a wireless drawing pad for Windows PCs using the brand's Freestyle software.
That 12.7-inch LTPS LCD panel has a 60Hz refresh rate along with a 2944 x 1840 (3K) resolution, and accompanying the Dimensity 7050 processor is a choice of 4/8GB and 128/256GB of built-in storage. MicroSD card support is also present which means you'll be able to carry your favorite content around without needing to resort to cloud storage.
The Tab P12 features a 13MP ultra-wide camera on the front for video calls and an 8MP rear camera with autofocus. There's a big 10,200mAh battery which Lenovo claims is good for 10 hours of playback although there's no mention of charging speed in the brief. The fingerprint sensor is incorporated into the power key, and there's also support for Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6 present.
Sporting quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and tuned by JBL, the Tab P12 also runs Android 13 out of the box with Lenovo promising two OS updates and 4 years worth of security patches.

Besides viewing content and playing games, the Tab P12 is designed to cater for students with the inclusion of the Tab Pen Plus stylus and the Keyboard addon which are included in the box. The stylus is compatible with the free Nebo and MyScript Calculator apps, with the tablet able to act as a drawing pad plus thanks to the Freestyle software which is freely available for Windows 11 PCs,

The keyboard accessory features keys with a 1.5mm travel and a 0.2mm concavity, a built-in keypad and 16 functional shortcuts to help one navigate the workspace. The tablet software is able to show up to 4 apps in split screen and another 5 in floating windows.
The Lenovo Tab P12 comes with a few key apps for learning:
