[Updated with Unboxing and First Impressions] Realme has launched a rather stunning Naruto-themed edition of the GT Neo 3

As we wrap up our review of the GT Neo 3 which launched back in March, Realme unveiled a Naruto-themed version of the phone that packs in the same internals such as the Dimensity 8100 chipset and 150W UltraDart charging but sports a very different exterior. The anime-inspired finish is Realme's most customized handset. It comes complete with matching wallpapers, icons, and a fancy vegan leather canister that looks similar to a sleeping mat roll-up that you might use when camping. All-in-all, it's a funky-looking package and the phone looks pretty cool too, even if you aren't into Naruto.

Realme has delved into the world of anime-themed products before with its DragonBall Z Edition of the GT Neo 2 which launched towards the end of 2021. This time, they've drawn inspiration from Naruto's outfit in the Shippuden series, using orange as the primary color with matt black and metallic grey sections. The 3D effect on the metallic camera housing sports micro patterns that resemble “Naruto's classic headband as well as the Realme and Naruto series logos”.

The Naruto-themed goodness is also apparent in the software which features appropriately themed wallpapers and app icons. I know I've already said it, but the orange, black, and silver colorway really stands out in all the good ways on the GT Neo 3, and the packaging is just the cherry on top thanks to its sheer uniqueness.

It's bad news if the GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition (12/256GB) is tempting because Realme has stated that only 5,000 units will be produced and that it will only be sold within China. Just in case you do manage to find a third-party seller, the RRP is 3,099 yuan which converts to around $460.
