If you are looking to buy a tablet, you cannot tell me that you are not intrigued about the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer. If you haven't heard about it yet, it is a 10.1-inch Honeycomb tablet with a NVIDIA dual core processsor. What makes it intriguing is that it has a physical keyboard dock. We have heard rumors about it being released on Amazon and at Best Buy next month for a price of $499.00. If this holds true, this might be the best Android tablet out there.

We have known about the Transformer for some time now, but they have officially released the full specifications.

The Transformer will come preloaded with Polaris Office 3.0 which allows viewing and editing of word, excel, and powerpoint files. ASUS will have their own launcher on top of Honeycomb called Waveshare UI which interfaces with MyLibary, MyCloud, and MyNet. For the launch they are offering the ASUS WebStorage free for 1 year.

My Library consolidates downloaded books, magazines and newspapers in to one easy step.

MyCloud is a total cloud solution, providing access to digital content such as music, videos and files from the cloud anywhere, anytime. Users can even use MyCloud to remotely access and control any PC or Mac system and access applications or files to extend the versatility of the Eee Pad Transformer experience. MyCloud will become available in mid April after a software update.

MyNet easily streams digital media wirelessly within home network devices so HD videos or music can be played on devices such as an HDTV or desktop PCs for an even better experience from the Transformer.
