Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite in the works

It appears that Samsung are working on the follow up to the S10 Lite with an S20 Lite that is known as the S20 ‘Fan Edition' at Samsung.

A report by SamMobile claims that the S20 Lite is a go from Samsung. This could prove popular as the S10 Lite allowed consumers to have a mid-range phone that borrowed flagship elements from its older brother.

The report claim three models are in development: The SM-G780 will be the global version available with or without 5G and the SM-G781 will be the US version and include 5G.

S20 Lite Potential Specs

Not much is known about the S20 Lite but if it follows suit from its predecessor then we can expect it to use the Snapdragon 865 chip like the S20. It should come with 128GB of internal storage and run Android 10 with the One UI 2.5 – Samsung's skin that is due to launch with the Note 20.

As is standard with mid-range releases, the price will be the critical point for success with flagships like the OnePlus 8 continuing to bridge that pricing gap.
