Google Pay adds support for 18 more international banks, totaling almost 100 additions this quarter 4

Google has been on a hot streak of expanding Google Pay to more banks around the world, with a huge addition of 68 happening just a couple months ago. They expanded on that again last month with a handful more, and now there's yet another 18 banks ready to be used with Google's digital payment system.

TransferWise cards in several countries mark the biggest addition, including in Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK., but Russia picked up the most extra support this time around. 10 of the 18 additions are Russian banks, although SBI BANK in Russia has actually dropped support in this wave.

But this last little inclusion highlights the end of 2019 and puts Google Pay in a strong position to make some waves in 2020. It's a pretty solid payment platform, if you can use it, and the more partners are on board the better it'll be.
