Here's an interesting one. Verizon Wireless has suddenly listed a ghost from the past among its fleet of modern smartwatches, including the Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. The original Android Wear smartwatch (along with Samsung's Gear Live) debuted way back in 2014, but for just $49.99, you can now snag that pioneering LG G Watch from Verizon. Well, actually you can't. But for reasons unknown, they're listing it anyway.

This isn't the first time weird things have popped up on Verizon's website, but it still makes you wonder who's steering the ship. Admittedly, I'd buy this new in a second for $49.99 just for the novelty factor, but the “Add to Cart” button is nonfunctional and it's tragically just vaporware.

If Verizon truly wants to resurrect the dead, let's bring back the Droid Incredible as well. I'm down for a double dose of nostalgia.

      1. I just “rented” the Galaxy Watch Active 2 from Best Buy for a couple weeks after using exclusively Android Wear / Wear OS smartwatches and was really sad to return it. I’ll definitely be picking one up again when it’s cheaper.
