JBL's much-delayed Link Bar is finally on sale 4

Tech sites are well known for using the word ‘finally' far too often, but in this case, I think it is perfectly justified because JBL's Link Bar has finally gone on sale. First announced during 2018, the soundbar that pulls triple duty as an Android TV box and the smart speaker thanks to the Google Assistant being baked-in, JBL's Link Bar experienced numerous delays in its journey to market but now it's finally on sale.

If you are in the market for a multi-purpose soundbar, the Link Bar boasts 100W output, 3 x HDMI inputs, 1 x HDMI ARC input, and a far-field microphone so you can issue voice commands to the Google Assistant. Chromecast and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity are built-in, which means you can stream content directly from your smartphone to the Link Bar, and Android TV gives access to apps from the Play Store.

You can pick up the Link Bar directly from JBL for $399 in the US and £349 in the UK, with inventory available and “ready to ship”.
