The Galaxy S10 leaks are increasing in frequency in the run-up to Samsung's Unpacked launch event in San Francisco on February 20th. The latest leaked render shows three Galaxy S10 variants encased in transparent protection and now details about the top of the range Galaxy S10+ handset that features a ton of RAM, storage, and a special ceramic finish.
The Galaxy S10+ 12GB/1TB version will have a ceramic back cover. This ceramic has a special process that is not only scratch resistant but also resistant to falling, but the weight will increase. This is the most advanced version of the S10+ . There is a metallic luster.

According to Ice Universe, the highest specced Galaxy S10+ boasts a ceramic rear panel with ‘special process' that is not only scratch-resistant but also ‘resistant to falling'. Visually, the ceramic finish is said to offer a ‘metallic luster' and increase the weight of the phone itself. Being ceramic, it' likely that this version of the Galaxy S10+ will be a tad slippery.
If the top-of-the-range Galaxy S10+ does indeed feature 10GB of RAM, 1TB of built-in storage, and a ceramic finish, you can bet that there will be the requisite increase in price to well above $1,000. It's quite possible, with Samsung's strategy of matching up to iPhone prices, that this upgraded Galaxy S10+ could cost more that $1,250. That's a hefty chunk of cash for a smartphone, although it's almost certainly cheaper than the foldable phone that Samsung is planning on showing off at the Unpacked even on February 20th.
Is this a case of diminishing returns? Is there really a need for 10GB of RAM and 1TB of storage? How much is your limit when it comes to buying a new smartphone? Let us know in the comments below.
