The rumor mill and hunt for leaks and clues about the new OnePlus 6 continues to heat up as we move closer to an official announcement. Sometimes the information comes from unofficial sources, sometimes from the company itself, and sometimes from other official sources as is the case with today's information. A new listing for a OnePlus A6000 has appeared in the TENAA database as the device goes through the certification process in China. That entry provides some solid information regarding OnePlus's plans for the OnePlus 6.
Since the OnePlus 6 is expected to sort of compete against flagships from other manufacturers, it is no surprise OnePlus is going with the current king of the hill in processors, the Snapdragon 845. Sources have noted OnePlus has slowed the chip down just a bit from the max 2.8GHz to 2.45GHz in tradeoff between pure performance and battery life. One area where OnePlus does not attempt to match the flagship market is in the display. Although it grows slightly compared to its predecessor to 6.28-inches, the OnePlus 6 retains a normal HD resolution instead of Quad HD.

Indications are that an 8GB model will be available, but the version that passed through TENAA came with only 6GB and 64GB of onboard storage. Some are expecting the phone to have at least one variant that comes with 256GB of onboard storage. Other hardware includes a 3,300mAh battery, a 16MP front-facing selfie camera, and a dual lens camera on the back with 20MP and 16MP sensors.
