Android Oreo beta reaches the Nokia 6 4
Nokia is now being handled by HMD Global and they're doing an excellent job keeping Nokia handsets up-to-date. Android 8.0 Oreo has already landed on the Nokia 5 and Nokia 8, and now the Nokia 6 is getting Oreo via the Nokia Mobile Beta Labs program. This is just a beta and not the full-blown version yet, but that should be right around the corner.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, broke the news on Twitter today and anyone with a Nokia 6 can enroll in the program and register their phone on Nokia's website. The Oreo OTA arrives within minutes of registering. Odds are there will be some bugs with the beta build, but the advantages of upgrading to Android 8.0 Oreo now probably outweigh the quirks.
