Misfit Vapor gets delayed until October 4

Earlier this year, Misfit announced the Vapor smartwatch running on Android Wear 2.0 with a release date set for sometime this summer. Well, September's almost here and there's no Misfit Vapor. What's the deal?

Unfortunately, Misfit had to delay the smartwatch. It hasn't been pushed too far back, but you can expect to see it hit the market in October. Misfit hasn't clarified what caused the delay, but the hardware is still the same as when the Vapor was originally announced. You'll get a 1.39″ round AMOLED display, a Snapdragon Wear 2100 CPU, and hefty water resistance.

Android Wear is in a weird place, but watch manufacturers are still placing bets on its success, even if it's lagged a bit getting off the ground.
