asus zenpad 3S 10The brand new ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 is a mouthful to say, but it looks like one of the best tablets the company has ever released. Considering ASUS was the manufacturer of the original Nexus 7, that's saying something.

The new ZenPad does kind of look like a mashup between an iPad and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S, but that sleek, metal design looks really good. ASUS went all out with the craftsmanship on this one, creating a tablet that weighs only 430 grams and comes in at 5.8 mm thin. That design houses a 9.7-inch display with 2048 x 1536 resolution with very wide viewing angles, which is on par with both the Galaxy Tab S2 and Apple's iPad Air 2, both of which are arguably the best looking tablet screens on the market today.

The hardware shouldn't disappoint, either. The ZenPad uses a powerful hexa-core MT8176 MediaTek CPU paired with 4 GB of RAM, and while that probably won't beat out the most top shelf parts, it should be plenty powerful for most users. There's an included fingerprint scanner in the home button, dual speakers, an 8-megapixelrear camera with a 5-megapixel front camera, plus either 32 or 64GB of internal storage. ASUS is tossing in some extra goodies with the tablet, too, including tons of free cloud storage space.

Out of the box, the ZenPad runs Android 6.0 but is expected to see an Android 7.0 update. It will cost €379, but no word on actual availability yet.
