One of the great things about using a 4G equipped tablet is the sense of freedom it gives you when you are out and about; being able to browse or stream content without using up your smartphone's data allowance while tethering. In the past, buying a tablet equipped with a SIM slot meant having to pay a premium for the privilege, but these days there are cheaper options, one of which is the Vodafone‘s Tab speed 6 tablet (4G) that was announced earlier today.

The Tab speed 6 is an 8-inch tablet with 4G connectivity, and besides being available for £125 on PAYGO, the Tab speed 6 can be taken out on a 24-month contract. You can choose either 3GB for £16 or 10GB for £21 per month, with no upfront payments for the device. Let's take a look at what else the Tab speed 6 brings to the table.
Specifications:
- Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Whichever way you slice it, the Tab speed 6 offers a decent level of spec for the price, with 4G connectivity included along with the IPS display that allows for great viewing angles. It isn't going to go head-to-head with the Galaxy Tab S2, but then, it's less than half the price. The Tab speed 6 will make a great tablet for anyone on a budget.
