The Beatles to be available on 9 music streaming services come December 24 4

The Beatles announced today that their music will be available to stream from nine popular music streaming avenues tomorrow, December 24.

While the group dissipated in April of 1970, many of their songs are still loved from listeners around the globe. Those that enjoy the band's music will be able to listen to them on Apple Music, Play Music, Spotify, Deezer, Microsoft Groove, Amazon Prime, Rhapsody, Slacker, and Tidal.

The Beatles coming to multiple music streaming services is particularly significant, as they're accepting that streaming has become a big part of the music industry. Purchases of entire albums have decreased, with most preferring to listen to a handful of their favorite songs through Spotify and other services.

It's something Taylor Swift hasn't realized yet, after pulling her music from Spotify early November.

Partnerships with Spotify, Apple Music, and others will allow streaming providers to play 224 songs from The Beatles' original 13 albums released in the UK, as well as various compilation albums, such as Past Masters.

The music will be available to listen to on December 24, starting at 12:01am local time.
