The Nexus 9 is easily the most hotly-anticipated Android tablet of the year and over the past few days has shown its face in teaser videos, renders and cartoons, and while we may have to wait until later this month to get our hands on one, Techrum user tdiddy-2 has uploaded a ton of photos of the upcoming tablet to the Vietnamese forum. Thanks to Italian site Webtrek we also have a couple videos of the tablet in action. The official keyboard case also makes an appearance in the photos. Hit the break for the motherload.
As you can see from the photos, the keyboard case seems to fit quite nicely and allows the front-facing BoomSound speakers to blare media with no issue. The cover is a “smart” cover and also features a mechanical keyboard. Are any of you planning on picking one of these up? Or is that old-school 4:3 screen ratio a dealbreaker? What its in a foreign language but it looks good
I have two tablets; a Nexus 7 for taking with me out of the house in my coat and my Xperia Tablet Z for everything else.
I had a 8.9 inch Galaxy Tab in the past and have to say the size of the screen was very good however for my current needs the two I have do me well.
I like the 4-3 format for reading and web browsing but it’s a pain for video. Can you imagine people raving about 4-3 TV screens after using 16-9?
I will, of course, drool over the Nexus 9 when I see it in the shops and I hope it sells well to keep HTC in the game.
I don’t like on Android L the way you have to flick the notifications bar down twice before you can see the settings. Also, I hope they’ve changed the ugly notifications on the lock screen.
I don’t think I could go for a 4:3 tablet. To me, the 90’s are in the past and should stay there.
