Yesterday, a Manhattan test database revealed what we thought were the specs of the upcoming Nexus 6, which is made by Motorola and codenamed “Shamu.” However, the full GFXBench database listing, not to mention the AnTuTu database, reveal a different story that is likely to get you very excited.

What we are looking at here folks is a phone with a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display, a 2.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, an Adreno 420 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 12 MP (or 13 MP) rear camera capable of shooting 4K UHD video, 2 MP front-facing camera, and Android L.

After reading all of these specs, is there anything else you desire on the next Nexus? I am hopeful, but not expecting, a decent camera. Motorola is not known for great cameras. Not to mention that past Nexus phones were pretty dreadful in that department. If Motorola and Google can get the camera right, this might be the go-to phone of the year.

  1. 5.2 would be ideal ! anything above that and i wouldn’t consider this.
I am holding on and not getting one cause i really want the new nexus.

Only think that i want extra is a 64bit processor !

  2. Hopefully 5.2 is the screen size, no interest in some silly 6 inch screen, way too big. If it’s 5.2 I’ll definitely be interested.
