One of the devices that Samsung announced at MWC this year, the Gear Fit, was awarded “the best mobile device” by GSMA. Part fitness tracker, part smartwatch, the device looks to be functional without getting in the way. It sports a curved display with a higher resolution than even the newly announced Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo. It even boasts double the battery life to that of the Gear 2. It has a heart monitor and syncs with Samsung's S Health.
We're still waiting on availability and pricing, but the smartwatch/fitness tracker garnered more attention than even the Galaxy S 5. Considering that the Gear Fit, nailed something that even the original Galaxy Gear couldn't, the whole being functional without getting in the way thing, it's easy to see why it's received so much attention.
