We'd recently heard that Google was planning on moving its massive barge after the California state agency asked that the search giant either file a building permit or move locations. Google opted to move as opposed to the permit, and it's looking like the new location will be Stockton, still in California.
If the weather agrees, Google plans on setting sail for Stockton early next with its barge to finish construction. We'll be sure to keep you updated when the move happens and when (or if) Google actually finishes construction on their floating showroom.
