Patent by LG reveals snap-on smartwatch concept

LG-smartwatch-stylus-patent-slapwatch Remember those slap-on watches that were popular years ago? Well, LG of all people looks like they want to bring them back. According to a recent patent by the company, they're working on a smartwatch that can wrap itself around your wrist, looking more like a bracelet than a watch (as pictured above). Not just that, but the strap will be able to be fully extended and used as a stylus. Quite an idea.

There's no guarantee that this will evolve into anything real for LG, but LG does have a smartwatch in the works, according to reports.
