benchmark_nexus_5Today's been a Nexus 5 day. First, we got to see some really cool leaked photos of the upcoming device, and now the Nexus 5 has been spotted on the GFXBench benchmark site. It seems like the codename of the phone is the LG Hammerhead. From the information, we can tell that it has an HD 1080p display and a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. In addition, the device runs KitKat 4.4.

That's not it. Two unannounced devices, LG-D820_S and LG-D820_C have received WiFi Certification. These are most likely two different versions of the Nexus 5, as previous leaks have shown. These two devices could vary by storage capacity, or LTE/HSPA+. We'll have to wait and see, but it's getting exciting to see these leaks.

    1. The assumption is Google went with KitKat pretty recently because of a deal they struck with Hershey. The original name was Key Lime Pie
