It's hard to believe that Google I/O is only a couple of weeks away. The conference itself is always a exciting, but you can't forget the parties either. Lookout's Annual Kickoff party is always a blast, and we are excited to offer our readers a chance to get a ticket because it's one you don't want to miss. If delicious food, unlimited drinks, great entertainment and cool giveaways sounds like fun to you, then you will want to enter this contest right now. We have 10 tickets (plus one guest) to give away and the details are as follows:

When: Tuesday, May 14 at 7:30 pm
Where: Terra Gallery, 511 Harrison Street, San Francisco, CA
What: Lookout's annual Google I/O kickoff party. Drinks will start flowing at 7:30 pm at Terra Gallery in San Francisco and we'll have tasty food and awesome entertainment. Free giveaways for the first 200 who show up at the door (arrive early: we had a line around the block last year!). *Please note that this event is 21 and over.

The only caveat is that you need to get yourself to San Francisco on your own because travel arrangements are not included.

To enter, just comment below on what you want to see at this year's Google I/O. Is it a newer Nexus 7, Key Lime Pie, a Nexus Q 2, or something entirely different? We will take entries through May 3rd at 12:00pm EST. We will pick 10 random winners shortly after.

  1. Whether the next version of Android is Key Lime Pie or Jellybean 4.3, I hope it has a Google-supported, device-wide, theming engine. If TouchWiz, Sense, and third-party themes were all just “apps” instead of being so tightly coupled with the main framework code, fragmentation would be a thing of the past…

  2. If you see someone dancing in the audience or watching youtube having an Nexus 5, that would be me. TADAAA
I am expecting Glass to get many updates and new features
A lemon pie will be coming. I am optimistic.
Tablet – Anyone smelling a curved tablet?? Anyone??
    Glass with sunglasses?? :)

  3. I missed Google I/O 2012. This year, when I was ready to buy a Google I/O ticket, I got Google Intern start from May 13. Attend google I/O is my dream, but work at Google is a biggest one. I told myself I will drive to Moscone Center on May 14 just to feel, taste and smell the environment over there. If anyone ask me which product you want to get at Google I/O this year, I will say as many as I can :-).
It is very hard for me to buy google glass now, but there are people at I/O let me borrow theirs.

I hope I am lucky and get the ticket. If not, I am glad anyone gets it. You guys will definitely enjoy it.

  4. I am hoping for a new Google brand phone+. Don’t think we will see KLP but would be nice to hear some features of it. Also would like to see/hear about Google game center.

  5. Key Lime Pie is what I’m waiting for. My Nexus 7 is amazing; if they can improve upon it, I’ll be thrilled.
