Samsung Galaxy Note II update brings multi-window support 3

We previously reported that some Samsung Galaxy Note II's didn't have the advertised multi-window support, but an update that is rolling out today will fix that. This will allow Galaxy Note II owners to split the 5.5″ screen in half and run two android apps at the same time. The original Galaxy Note had a similar feature, but it was limited to only Samsung apps. This time around there is support for not only Samsung apps but some Google apps as well as select third party apps such as Twitter. This update is version XXALIJ1 and it also includes a new baseband version of Chrome. The Galaxy Note II will be available in the states later this month.
