As the world waits for Google to finally make the latest update of the Android system, KitKat, available for the masses, folks have been enjoying the hunt for any crack in the armor of Google or KitKat that may yield some information before its time. The latest example involves the kitkat.com domain where someone decided to check out the /android directory only to discover it was password protected. Since access is blocked, there is no way to know whether there is anything meaningful lurking behind the closed doors. The fact that the door exists and is locked is enough to set the Internet abuzz in hopes that this is a sign of an imminent release.
