CES 2009 – NIMble Android Desktop Phone

iPhone designers Touch Revolution have today unveiled an Android powered desktop phone at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The NIMble device boasts a 7-inch multitouch screen (800x400) along with 624MHz Marvel processor, MicroSD card expansion, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The Android platform is said to be fully functional on the NIMble with multi-touch currently in development ahead of the official launch.

The NIMble is scheduled for release in September priced at $300, or available free with a $10-$20/month phone home service contact.

  2. why would you pay the 10-20/month when there is wifi and such things as skype?

  3. Awesome. I’ll take 3 (one for each floor of my house) and perhaps hopes for:

    - accessories that allow control lights & fans
    - integrated universal remote (similar to Harmony)
    - self detection & config for intercom functionality
    - remote view for front door camera & door lock operation
