More leaked images appear to confirm Pixel 2 (Walleye) design

Late last week new leaks surfaced regarding the upcoming Pixel 2 being produced by HTC. Indications are the device will be a mix of good news and bad news for potential buyers. A couple new images surfaced today that appear to show an early version of the Pixel 2 seem to re-affirm the design and features other leakers have shared.

On the front of the device, the HTC-made Walleye has the same large bezels at top and bottom that have shown up in other leaks. Considering how many other flagship devices are pushing to minimize bezels, the presence of these large bezels is a bit disappointing. The good news is that it appears the Pixel 2 will put a pair of front-facing stereo speakers in that space.

The source for the images also confirmed that the 3.5mm audio jack is missing. On the back side, the image seems to show the same shrunken glass area at the top of the device that has become familiar via leaks for this new version of the Pixel. Sources examining the images also think they have clearly spotted a dual LED flash to go with the single lens camera.
