Looks like Cricket Wireless will be the exclusive U.S. seller of the HTC Desire 650 that launched in late 2016.
Hit the break for details.
The Desire 650 from HTC features 5-inch HD (720p) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 13MP / 5MP cameras, a 2200mAh battery (non-removable), front-facing speakers, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
HTC first announced the phone in November 2016, but it was impossible to buy anywhere outside of Taiwan. Now we’re approaching the Desire 650’s release in the United States as Evan Blass, the mobile industry’s top insider, shared an image of the device with Cricket Wireless branding.
Blass didn’t share when the Desire 650 will end up on Cricket Wireless’ network; therefore, we’ll have to wait until the carrier or HTC make an official announcement. It’s likely HTC’s Desire 650 makes its U.S. debut on Cricket Wireless this spring during one of the carrier’s celebratory promotions.
