64GB OnePlus 3 to be an Amazon exclusive in India

The OnePlus 3 with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM will be an Amazon exclusive in India, according to an ad placed in the Hindustan Times newspaper.

It’s hard to call this “just” a rumor, as this information comes from some very official sources. OnePlus is set to announce the OnePlus 3 today at 12:30pm eastern time, but the Hindustan Times seems to have put out an ad a day early, confirming the design of the handset as well as the existence of a model with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.

As mentioned earlier, the paper says this variant will be an Amazon exclusive in India and will retail for Rs. 27,999, which equates to about $416 in US dollars.

The paper also confirms specifications that has been rumored for some time now, including a Snapdragon 820 processor, a fingerprint scanner, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 16MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera (the camera specs are inverted in the ad).

We’re not sure if Amazon will have the exclusive on any other variants of the handset in India, so it seems like it’s just this current model for now. We’ll obviously hear more when OnePlus takes the wraps off the handset in just a couple of hours.

If you want to tune into the OnePlus 3 launch, be sure to open up the Loop VR app today at 12:30pm eastern time to watch the event unfold!
