Did you wake up to a Google opinion survey today? According to trusted sources, Google has outed a survey in its ‘Opinion Rewards' application that allows you to vote for the name of the next Android release.

In case you don't know, every year Google outs a new version of its Android mobile operating system. Each successor uses the next letter of the alphabet. For example, Lollipop came before Marshmallow, and next is Android N. All Android versions are named after a sweet treat or dessert.  Google_Opinion_Rewards_Android_N_survey_031516_1

The Android N developer preview is already out, but has no official name. A while back, we heard that Google may leave the decision down to the public, which is atypical. Earlier today, a user from Android Police spotted a survey in Google's ‘Opinion Rewards' application allowing us to pick and choose what we want to be the name. The user is first asked to submit a “tasty food” that starts with the letter ‘N.'

Question two is a poll of choices listing some tasty treats beginning with ‘N.' Interestingly, none of the treats we were expecting are on the list such as Nutella or the recently leaked New York Cheesecake . There are also no Indian foods on the list, which was previously rumored.

Let us know if you've received the reward survey and tell us what you voted for in the comments.
