It is expected that a Nexus tablet will arrive this fall to coincide with the release of Android L. We have seen it referred to as Flounder, Volantis, and Nexus 9. The tablet, regardless of what you call it, is widely expected to be manufactured by HTC and a tablet matching its profile has received WiFi certification on August 15.
The certification is filed under the “Tablet (Wi-Fi and other)” section rather than WiFi-only. This means that Google is presumably going to carry both a WiFi version and an LTE-ready version. Here, have multiple stock keeping units (SKUs) and that likely confirms the different various; however, it could also indicate a choice of color or storage for this Nexus device.
