Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro announced, carries a stunning 6-inch QHD display


Today, Lenovo has announced the Vibe Z2 Pro as its new flagship device heading forward. It is going to be big, literally. The Vibe Z2 Pro has a gigantic 6-inch display with 2560×1440 resolution (Quad HD). This gives it 490 pixels per inch. The back of the Vibe Z2 Pro is just as impressive as the front since Lenovo opted to cover it with metal. All of this is within a 7.7mm thin body.

Just like the outside, Lenovo did not skimp on the inside. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM keeps things running without any hiccups. And the juice for such a large handset comes from a 4000mAh battery. That is one of the many benefits of such a large device. It also allows the Vibe Z2 Pro to very thin bezels on the sides since all of the components inside are spread out and not as stacked as a smaller handset.

The 16MP camera on the back has a back-illuminated sensor along with optical image stabilization. And to stick with the times, Lenovo made sure to include support for recording video at 4K resolution.

Lenovo did not give a firm date for the Vibe Z2 Pro and it is unknown what markets will get the handset and at what price. We do know, however, that it will be available in the usual black, white, and gold colors.
