Verizon Droid Maxx

Verizon has announced that they're adding two new color schemes for the Droid MAXX to their phone lineup. You'll now be able to purchase the long-lasting device in high gloss red and black with chrome accents. The black looks pretty similar to the current color offered, but the chrome accents make a very nice touch, and the red is a relief from the usual black and white colors we see on devices.

The devices will be available with a new two-year agreement for $99.99, and you'll be able to pick them up on Verizon's EDGE program, too.

As a refresher, the Droid MAXX is powered by a custom X8 CPU by Motorola and features wireless charging and a fantastic 48-hour battery life. If you're interested, you can purchase both of these new colors today forward.
