Motorola have this week confirmed that their highly anticipated Android handset, the Motorola Milestone (aka the Motorola Droid), will be available in the UK from December 7th.

Apparently the handset will only be available from online retailer Expansys who are set to offer the handset exclusively in the UK priced at £449.99 for the sim-free version.

  1. I spoke to Expansys earlier, they told me they’d have it in stock this Friday. I’m not a fan of contacts but as contracts go that’s a pretty damned good one.

  2. Thanks for the info Stefing, i’m just a bit puzzled that no UK carrier has come forward.

There’s rumblings that they’ll also be offering the handset with a T-Mobile contract which seems a little bizarre.

  3. hope they have this on a decent network!

  4. Looks like a nice phone, apart from it being a bit boxy!

I’d like to see one in the flesh first, before I gave up my Hero!
