Today, Huawei unveiled their Honor 3 smartphone, which is following the waterproof/dustproof trend. It’s not a high-end flagship offering, but it’s a cool device nonetheless. You’ll find a modest 720p 4.7-inch screen that can recognize wet hands, a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, a 13 megapixel camera, Android 4.2.2, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. You’ll also find an IR blaster on board, which makes the device a pretty good bang for your buck when you consider it’s priced at about $309.
What do you think about all of these waterproof devices we’ve seen in the past year? Just a useless trend or a nice option to have in a smartphone?
