Nexus 7 sales estimated to be approximately 4.6 million units for 2012

Just how successful is the Nexus 7? According to mobile analyst Benedict Evans, Google sold between 4.5 and 4.6 million units in 2012. While these numbers are surely impressive for Google, they do lack when compared to the competition. Evans said that Apple sold 10 million iPad mini’s, and although we don’t have an actual estimate, Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD “outsold” the Nexus 7 as well. What do you guys think of these numbers?     Shows how many people are easily swayed by a bit of marketing guff from Apple or Amazon – at least 4.5 million people had the sense to find out which is the best of the three tablets mentioned.

      I completely agree. I find it funny that most of the widely respected tech blogs favored the Nexus 7 over the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and the Apple iPad Mini. In my opinion, the iPad Mini is just overpriced for what it provides and the Kindle Fire HD just doesn’t have the bells and whistles that give the Nexus 7 give that bang for your back quality.

    I think this handset will gonna be a flagship device of this year
