Universal Androot brings 1-click rooting to most Android phones

A lot of people are interested in rooting their device for one reason or another, but are weary of cabling up and fussing about with various pieces of software and drivers and whatnot. Thankfully, for most devices at least, there is a simple, on-device solution that does not require downloading anything more than a simple, easy to use application.

Enter Universal Androot, which is by far one of the simplest ways I have seen to root one’s device. The interface gives you a checkbox option to perform a “Soft Root”, which will only last until you reboot your device, as well as a one click solution for both rooting and unrooting the device.
