About the Galaxy S20
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is Samsung's flagship phone in 2020. It comes in three distinct models, including the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. All three models are powered by the Snapdragon 865 CPU or Samsung's Exynos 990 CPU.
The big selling point this year is an improved camera over the Galaxy S10, delivering better low-light performance and incredible levels of zoom. The bigger batteries should also provide all-day life out of a Galaxy S20, and then some.

Galaxy S20 reviews
Reviews for Samsung's Galaxy S20 line have been mixed, and likely not as consistent as Samsung had hoped. The smaller models seem to review a bit better, but software updates seem to have patched up early issues with the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Engadget found that the smaller Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ are better options for most people compared to the bigger Galaxy S20 Ultra, and that's partly due to the price. The smaller options simply offer better value while still delivering great pictures, battery life, and performance, all without being too big to actually hold and use.
TechRadar review:
TechRadar notes that the simple Galaxy S20 is a nearly perfect device, excluding its high price tag and a few erratic features. For $1000 you're getting a great phone with a great display and great performance, but 5G is hit or miss in some areas, and Samsung still needs to work on their fingerprint scanner.
CNET is another review that's on board with recommending the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ over the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It's high price tag is the biggest knock against it, but the huge design, large camera bump, and inconsistent battery life don't justify the $1400 asking price.
The Verge review praises the basic Galaxy S20 model for being “just right.” It doesn't take all the chances with design and insane camera feats that the Galaxy S20 Ultra does, but sometimes, that's just fine. The more consistent experience, sleeker design, and $400 smaller price tag help make for a better phone.
Galaxy S20 news
Coronavirus blamed for weak Galaxy S20 sales:
The Galaxy S20 early sales period seems weaker than its predecessor, despite some key improvements in camera quality and battery life. The new phones are more expensive than the Galaxy S10, but Samsung says that any weak sales numbers are due to current coronavirus panic, and aren't related to the Galaxy S20 directly.
Galaxy S20 family added to Google Stadia supported phone list:
Google Stadia is an incredibly promising game streaming service, but it launched only supporting Google's own line of Google Pixel phones. Fortunately that's starting to change, and the Galaxy S20 as well as its predecessor, the Galaxy S10, have been added to Stadia's game streaming whitelist.
Check out how Samsung has evolved Galaxy S camera technology over time:
Samsung has released a detailed infographic breaking down camera improvements in their smartphones over time. It starts with the original Galaxy S, which featured a 5MP camera with simple anti-shake tech, and goes through optical zoom, zero-lag shutter speed, dual pixel autofocus, and more revolutionary camera features that have been added over the years.
Galaxy S20 Deals
Amazon is currently running a deal that nets you a free pair of Galaxy Buds and a Samsung Charging Pad Duo with a Galaxy S20 purchase. Samsung is still running a trade-in deal that nets you up to $600 off the price of a Galaxy S20, which would bring the price down to just $399 with an eligible phone.
