The smartphone brand may be more mature but that doesn't mean that OnePlus isn't hip and fun. With that in mind, the company is giving Fortnite fans with a OnePlus handset* a Bhangra Boogie emote, absolutely free of charge. Now before you start haranguing your best friend who owns a OnePlus smartphone, you may want to check which model it is first. As you would expect, there are some limitations in that the offer only applies to the OnePlus 3 and newer.
If you have a OnePlus 3, 3T, 5, 5T, 6, 6T, 7, 7 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro, 8, or 8 Pro handset, you just need to heed the instructions below:
Step One
Navigate to oneplus.cim/fortnite/emote on a web browser and click on Claim your emote.
Step Two
Next, choose your method of logging in to your OnePlus account and enter the necessary details
Step Three
Grab your eligible OnePlus smartphone, tap on the Phone app, and enter *#06# to find your IMEI number which you'll need to write down. Open up the Phone app again and enter *#888# to obtain your phone's PCBA number, which you'll also need to write down.
Step Four
Grab the IMEI and PCBA numbers that you wrote down and enter them in the appropriate boxes. Tap on the Claim your emote button to get the code for the Bhangra Boogie emote. You may have to attempt to claim the emote a couple of tries because the site is busy. Perseverance wins the day, though.
Step Five
Next, you need to navigate your browser to epicgames.com/fortnite/redeem and sign in to your Fortnite account.
Step Six
All you need to do now is enter the code that OnePlus sent you into the redemption box to add the emote to your account. And that's it, you are now the proud owner of the Fortnite Bhangra Boogie emote.
