Motorola is headed for the stadium as it gears up for a FIFA-themed refresh of its upcoming smartphones. Leaked renders suggest special editions of the Motorola Motorola Razr Fold and Edge 70 Fusion are on the way.

Instead of the Pantone-inspired colors seen on the standard models, we are now spotting variants appearing with pastel finishes and touches of gold. Here's what it looks like.

Razr Fold looks stunning in leaked images

Popular leaker Evan Blass recently released multiple pictures of the Razr Fold and Edge 70 Fusion phones on X. The images show different angles of the foldable where the back panel is finished in a deep, almost charcoal-black tone with a dotted texture and faint geometric shapes layered beneath the surface.

The camera module dominates the top. It’s a large, square island with softly rounded corners, finished in a brushed black metal. It houses three lenses and a fourth sensor or flash system.

Centered on the back is Motorola’s iconic “M” batwing logo in gold. Near the bottom, there’s a larger gold FIFA emblem featuring the tournament silhouette. Beneath it, in smaller lettering, are the words “Official Smartphone Partner”.

The Edge 70 Fusion looks the same, except it's a traditional slab-style smartphone. The specs for the foldable were already announced at CES 2026, but the one key detail Motorola left out was the chipset. Now it looks like a Geekbench listing has filled in that missing piece.

Razr Fold will use a powerful Snapdragon chip

According to benchmark results leaked on X, the Razr Fold is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, codenamed “Blanc”, rather than the higher-end Elite variant. The Geekbench scores are 2,681 in single-core and 9,056 in multi-core.

Usually, Geekbench uses a reference baseline device and assigns it a fixed score. Other devices are then measured relative to that baseline, so a higher number simply means better performance compared to the internal reference standard.

It's safe to say the Razr Fold’s processor is operating at modern flagship level. Just don't expect it to be at the absolute bleeding edge. The tested configuration reportedly included 16GB of RAM and ran Android 16, likely with Motorola’s Hello UX on top.

Besides these features, the phone has a 8.09-inch LTPO OLED internal screen with 2K resolution, along with a 6.6-inch OLED cover display. On the back is a triple 50MP rear setup, including a Sony Lytia primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide with macro support, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens.

On the front, there’s a 20MP internal selfie camera and a 32MP external front-facing camera on the cover display. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports the Motorola Pen Ultra stylus. The device will be available in Pantone-certified finishes of Blackened Blue and Lilly White.

The brand teased that the official announcement or showcase will likely happen at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in a 10-second video. The event will happen from March 2 to March 5 in Barcelona, Spain.
