Google Play Points is Google's rewards program it started back in 2018 as a way to offer points and rewards to users on its Play Store. Users earn points for downloading or purchasing content from the Google Play Store and making in-app purchases. These points can then be used to get discount coupons and in-app items, or you can also convert them to Google Play credits. The benefits increase as you level up.
According to Google, over 220 million people benefit from Google Play Points by earning points and rewards. Given all these perks, Google's reward program was already pretty good – especially considering that its competitor, Apple, doesn't have one. Now, Google is enhancing the program with additional perks and rewards to make it even better. Users will soon be able to earn improved rewards, such as Pixel devices and exclusive gaming merchandise, and gain early access to new games, among other benefits.
Google Will Introduce Fresh Ways To Win Rewards, Starting With A New Diamond Valley Game
Google says it's bringing new ways to play and earn rewards. To start with, it has launched a new Diamond Valley game. It's a mini-game treasure hunt, where you need to search for diamonds, which you can redeem to win exciting prizes such as Pixel devices, exclusive merchandise from games, bonus points, etc.
Diamond Valley has already been launched to users in Korea and Japan and will be available for users in the US starting June 17. Meanwhile, you can pre-register for the game to earn bonus diamonds. The first 50,000 Diamond and Platinum members to pre-register will receive a Diamond Valley t-shirt from Google.

For instance, starting today, Diamond, Platinum, and Gold members can enjoy early access to Squad Busters, the upcoming game from Supercell. Supercell is a Finnish mobile game development company behind famous titles like Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, etc.
