The iQOO Neo9 Pro literally came out last month, but the company is already working on the Neo10 series, and we have leaked specs for the Neo10 Pro.

iQOO is a Vivo sub-brand and although they don't tend to grab the spotlight too often, they make good-looking devices with solid specifications. I might say that I like their brand identity more than I like their parent company's.

Late last year saw the release of the iQOO Neo9 (and the Neo9 Pro came out a few months later in February this year), but iQOO isn't letting off on the throttle. They're already working on the Neo10 series, and we know a lot about the specifications we can expect from the Neo10 Pro.

The iQOO Neo10 Pro's Leaked Specs Are Very Solid

The iQOO Neo9 Pro was launched just about a month ago, and it had pretty solid specifications to boast about. But iQOO has decided that there's no rest for them, and they've already begun working on the Neo10 series, because why else would we already have a glimpse at the leaked specs for a month-old phone's successor?

The leak is courtesy of Digital Chat Station on Weibo. While a specific phone isn't mentioned, commenters were able to do some Sherlock Holmes-ing and figure out that the device being referred to was an iQOO phone, and is bound to be part of the Neo10 series (and not some additional Neo9 model). Because the source is in Chinese and the translation is somewhat wonky, I'm unable to do my logicalizing, but I'll take their word for it.

The screen will be a 1.5K LTPO OLED flat display with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. The display also seems to be set for a high PWM so it'll be easier on the eyes, as is the new trend with high-end smartphone displays. The phone is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood, which is the best that can be gotten right now. It'll have two cameras, one of which is going to be 50MP with a big sensor. Then there's also going to be 120W charging and a “large battery”. Also, expect an X-axis motor for great haptics.

Interestingly enough, despite such flagship-grade specs, the phone is expected to have a plastic frame — an odd choice. The back will be glass or faux leather depending on your colorway. This might be marketed as a flagship killer because the frame makes it clear that there's some desire to cut costs.

How Much Better Are These Leaked Specs Than The iQOO Neo9 Pro?

At the moment, we don't have the entire spec sheet for the iQOO Neo10 Pro, so we don't know how it will compare to its predecessor in its entirety, but we can work with what we currently know.

Well, at the moment, the only major difference is that the Neo10 Pro is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as was in the Neo9 Pro. Besides that, what we know about the screen, the wired charging, the camera, and even the back panel and frame are identical.

For now, we'll just have to be patient and wait for more information on the device. However, with leaks this early, we should expect a much earlier release window than the Neo9 Pro.
