After two years of virtual launch events OnePlus has decided that it's time to get tech enthusiasts away from their screens at home to go to a venue in-person to check out their latest small screen device. The phone in question is the much rumored OnePlus 10T which has the tagline of “Evolve Beyond Speed” which promises a high-performance flagship. Its launch event is being held in New York today, where OnePlus will also unveil OxygenOS 13. We've got the details on when and where you can catch the live stream coverage for you after the break.
The OnePlus 10T is powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship silicon, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is said to offer 10% more power and yet be 30% more power efficient. This, in anyone's language, is a surefire recipe for speed and longevity. OxygenOS 13 will bring a host of improvements to gaming, connectivity, and customization, and it will make its debut on the OnePlus 10 Pro before being rolling out to the OnePlus 10T later this year.
The launch event's live-stream kicks off at the following time in these locations:
- 10 am Eastern Time (ET)
- 3 pm British Summer Time (BST)
- 4 pm Central European Summer Time (CEST)
- 7:30 pm India Standard Time (IST)
- 10 pm Hong Kong Time (HKT)
In olden times OnePlus would give freebies to fans who bought tickets to its launch events, and you'll be glad to learn that nothing has changed in that respect. OnePlus says that fans who buy a ticket will get “top-tier merchandize”, including the OnePlus Nord Buds. Tickets cost $25 which is already less than what the Nord Buds cost, and there are valid for two people so you can take a friend along for the ride. The OnePlus 10T launch event will be held at Gotham Hall in New York City. Oh, Red Cable Club members have first dibs on buying tickets for the first 24 hours, so get yourself signed up if you aren't already.
What do you hope to see with the OnePlus 10T?
