It's official – OPPO will take the wraps off of its new Find X5 series of flagship smartphones on February 24th. As the first models to feature OPPO's self-developed MariSilicon X Imaging NPU, the Find X5 series will also feature the first fruits of the recently announced partnership with Hasselblad.
So far, we know that the Find X5 series consists of the Find X5 and the Find X5 Pro, the latter of which will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The vanilla Find X5, on the other hand, has been rumored to be powered either by MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 chipset or the Snapdragon 888 processor. The Find X5 Pro will sport an ‘ultra-hard, true ceramic back', ‘unrivaled night shooting capabilities', with both models running a new version of OPPO's ColorOS which will be based on Android 12.
Thanks to the previous leaks we have a good idea of what to expect for the flagship Find X5 Pro, including its evolutionary design that harks back to last year's Find X3 Pro.
The Find X5 series launch kicks off on OPPO's YouTube Channel on February 24th at 11 AM GMT/ 6 AM EST.
