ComScore Marketshare Report Says Android Is #1 Smartphone OS in the US 5

Last week Nielsen released their report on the smartphone marketshare percentages, naming our Android as the number 1 smartphone OS. Today, comScore released their numbers, and they support the findings, giving Android 31.2% of the market, with Blackberry close behind at 30.4% and Apple's iOS on 24.7%. Granted, these numbers were before Verizon launched the iPhone, so we'll have to wait a bit to see how that affected the market, but Android's had some nice phones dropping lately as well, and they had a pretty substantial lead. Always happy to see Android gaining marketshare, so to see them taking the lead is very exciting for the Android fanatics among us.
