We've heard quite a bit about the Galaxy S8, but considering there are two models, both of which will reportedly have curved screens, we don't know exactly what Samsung is planning on doing about the name. At least, we didn't until a logo leaked online.
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7 both launched with Edge counterparts, but since all of the Galaxy S8 models will adopt a curved display, Samsung needs something different to differentiate the smaller and larger versions. If you guessed they'd go with “Galaxy S8 Plus,” you nailed it. Not really a shocker, but hey, confirmation is nice.

When a manufacturer launches a slightly larger version of their smartphone, they tend to slap Plus on the end of the name and call it a day. It's not flashy, but it works, and at this point most consumers know that means one version is bigger than the other. Simple, yet effective.
We still have a few weeks until Samsung makes all of this official, but Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ sound like a pretty safe bet to me. I'm more curious about what the Galaxy Note 8 will be called.
