The holidays season is upon us and that means you'll probably need to entertain guests multiple times over the course of the next month or so. Why not serve up content from Google's platform built for the living room? Now is your chance to get NVIDIA's SHIELD set-top box that runs Android TV with a sweet freebie.

NVIDIA is bundling the set-top box's remote, which is normally sold separately for $49, with all SHIELD purchases. You'll get access to thousands of apps and games, some of which that are actually built specifically for this beast of a set-top box. The SHIELD is capable of outputting 4K video and everything operates smoothly as NVIDIA's own Tegra X1 processor is inside. And, if you ask NVIDIA, this is way better than Apple's set-top box.
