Boost-Mobile-logoBoost Mobile announced this morning new plans that don't require a contract that are also easy on the wallet. While Boost Mobile has already been known for cheap prepaid plans that start at $35, Boost's new $35 Data Boost plan offers 2.5GB of data on top of unlimited text and talk. The one caveat though is that if you want 2.5GB of data you'll have to enroll in auto-pay otherwise you'll get 1GB of data.

The new plan will be available starting on Feb. 3, and will be available to new and existing customers. For those who want more data, you can get up to 10GB of data for $55 a month, which isn't a bad deal. We have the presser for you after the break.

Presser:

IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Boost Mobile continues to provide one of the best values in the prepaid wireless industry with a new $35 Data Boost plan. The offer launches the first week of February and includes unlimited talk, text and data with 2.5GB/month of high-speed data after enrolling in Auto Re-Boost.

“We continue to answer the call of data-hungry consumers by offering a $35 no-contract plan that provides unlimited talk, text and the most high-speed data for a single-line plan at the lowest price.”

The new $35 Data Boost plan will be available to new and existing customers beginning Feb. 3. Customers will be eligible to purchase the new plan when they enroll in Auto Re-Boost in stores1 or online at www.boostmobile.com. Signing up for Auto Re-Boost is the easiest way to make sure a customer’s account and services stay current and active. Auto Re-Boost is Boost’s automatic payment method that allows a customer to register a credit card or debit card, or bank account with Boost Mobile which will be used to automatically make a payment each month.

“Boost Mobile once again demonstrates the best value in prepaid,” said Angela Rittgers, vice president-Sprint Prepaid Group. “We continue to answer the call of data-hungry consumers by offering a $35 no-contract plan that provides unlimited talk, text and the most high-speed data for a single-line plan at the lowest price.”

Now is the perfect time to switch to Boost Mobile. In addition to the new $35 Data Boost plan, for a limited time customers will receive up to $100 off any new phone when they port their number to Boost from any carrier2 and sign up for a Data Boost plan. Also launching on Feb. 3, new customers who don’t bring their number will get their first month free. Both offers will be available in store nationwide.
